Developers at Larkfleet Homes have recently sold one of its latest properties at Old Laundry Site Development in New Homes Bourne, Lincolnshire, as part of the Homebuy Direct Scheme.
The scheme, which was initiated by the previous government, is designed to help make affordable homes available to eligible buyers, who are currently freeze out of the current priced housing market. It allows the buyer to purchase a minimum of 70% of the market value of the house in question and then Larkfleet and the government provide the remaining 30%. From a legal prospective, the buyers officially own 100% of their new home.
Others wishing to be considered as part of this scheme must act quickly, as there are plans in place to withdrawal future Homebuy direct funding.
This is a great opportunity for new first time buyers to obtain a helping hand that enables them to get a foot on the property ladder. However, act quick before your chance is missed. Applications must be made to existing Homebuy direct schemes in the next four weeks, to ensure they are completed by the end of September 2010.
So check out two of the Larkfleet Homes developments that currently still offer homes under the Homebuy Direct scheme now, before it is too late.
