Newmachar is home to some stunning scenery and combined with fantastic local amenities it's a great place to call home. The village itself has a pharmacy, baker, hairdresser, a bar and restaurant amongst other things. Further afield there's the pretty market town of Inverurie, home to some great shops and a farmers market. Locally there's plenty to do in and around Newmachar including the award winning Newmachar Hotel which has a bar and restaurant. The all new Axis Centre is a multi-purpose building with café and sports centre. There's also the Newmachar Golf Club situated just outside the village and is home to an 18 hole course set within scenic grounds. There are a number of buses that run through Newmachar including those that go to Dyce and Aberdeen which is handy for those working in the oil industry. The village itself is just five miles from Dyce train station and close to Inverurie train station. Aberdeen airport is only six miles away and has regular domestic and international flights on a daily basis.
