Flitwick is only five miles from junction 12 of the M1 motorway that links the town to Milton Keynes and the East Midlands to the north, and Luton, the M25 and London to the south. Buses connect the town to Bedford, which is about 14 miles north on the nearby A6. Luton can also be reached via either the A6 or the M1. Flitwick railway station runs regular services to Bedford, Luton, St Albans, London (Blackfriars), Gatwick and Brighton. For air travel Luton Airport is only 16 miles away.
