Waterbeach is less than eight miles from the historic university city of Cambridge. The A10 skirts the village and runs from King's Lynn in Norfolk, through Ely, Cambridge, ending in London city centre. From Cambridge take junction 11 of the M11 for the M25 and London. Trains from Waterbeach Railway Station run to Cambridge in just ten minutes and on to London's King's Cross, in an hour. Buses run regularly to Cambridge, and Ely. Cambridge International Airport is only six miles.
