Manchester is just 36 miles via the M6 and Birmingham 60 miles south. Trains from Nantwich railway station run to Manchester and Birmingham as well as Shrewsbury and Crewe. For air travel Manchester airport is about 33 miles and the John Lennon Airport at Liverpool approximately 37.
