The A534 gives direct access to the motorway with Manchester less than 35 miles to the north and the West Midlands just over 50 miles to the south. Sandbach Railway Station near Gilbert's Cross is just an easy mile-and-a-half drive down the B4079 and bus services run from the town between Crewe, Winsford, Middlewich and Northwich. For air travel, Manchester Airport is approximately 27 miles.
