Cornwall is a county in the South-West of England, it is bordered by the Celtic sea in to the west and Devon to the East. Cornwall has a population of 536,000 however has only one city being Truro, although the town of Falmouth has the largest population for a civil parish.

The main settlements in Cornwall are Truro and Falmouth, alongside St Just in Penwith as well as Penzance, St Ives and Padstow, which are all smaller areas but have large tourism and travel sectors within their economy.

Cornwall is home to Land’s End, which is the southern-most part of England, also in Cornwall you can find the Eden Project which is a natural research centre/visitor attraction which operates a multiple greenhouse complex housing thousands of different plant species.

Cornwall is also host to many seaside towns such as Padstow and Newquay where you can enjoy a fine selection of fresh seafood at either Rick Steins Padstow restaurant or from Jamie Oliver’s restaurant.

Cornwall has many of the main A Roads for the southwest of England running through it, for example the A39 which runs from Cornwall to Devon before joining the M5 which connects Bristol to the Southwest via the M4. Also there are many other A Roads such as the A30, A394, A39 and the A38 which all connect different parts of Cornwall together making it an ideal place for inter-county traveling.

Cornwall’s vast access to the coastline and abundance of countryside make it an ideal place for people who have an outdoors lifestyle.
