Feethams: modern living at its best

Feethams is a selection of modern two bedroom apartments and two, three, four and five bedroom homes in the popular town of Darlington. These fantastic homes have been expertly-designed to accommodate modern living and are perfect for first-time buyers through to families looking for more space.

Darlington is a picturesque market town in South Durham known as the gateway to the Tees Valley. Our new development at Feethams was the former home of the town cricket club and Darlington FC, who played their final match there in 2003 before moving to Darlington Arena.

Already home to Darlington Railway Museum, with its display of steam trains, and Darlington Civic Theatre, which hosts a full programme of shows and events, residents also have access to a new £30 million entertainment hub. This boasts a nine-screen multiplex Vue cinema, 80-bedroom hotel, bars, restaurants and pubs built around an open-air plaza on the banks of the River Skerne.

Feethams is just half a mile away from the popular South Park. The 91-acre site was given multi-million pound Heritage Lottery Funded restoration and boasts beautiful gardens, a picturesque lake, new play areas, bandstand, skateboard park and seasonal café. Also close to hand are the stunning Pennines, Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors – perfect for walking, cycling or just enjoying a scenic drive. For the golfers amongst you there is also a choice of two golf courses close by.

Shop ‘til you drop at Feethams

You’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to shopping as Darlington offers around 500 shops. The Cornmill Centre mall is a thriving hub in the town centre and you’ll also find a mix of independent boutiques and popular high street brands. Need a break from shopping? There’s a good selection of bars, restaurants, and cafes. Feethams is also conveniently close to a Sainsbury’s Superstore.

Transport links are good as the Darlington railway station (just 0.3 miles away) lies on the East Coast Main Line with regular services to London Kings Cross, Leeds City station, Wakefield Westgate, Edinburgh Waverley, Newcastle, Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Airport. There are also local services from the historic North Road railway station. The road transport links are also convenient, with the North East's A1(M) bypassing the town to the west.
