The A361 leads to Junction 27 of the M5 via the North Devon Link Road. From Barnstaple the A39 links the area to Exmoor to the north and south to Bideford and Clovelly, plus Bude in north Cornwall. Trains run to many UK destinations from Barnstaple via Exeter, while National Express runs coaches to London via Taunton, calling at Braunton. For air travel Exeter Airport is 57 miles and Bristol 91 miles.
