About the Development

The Copse at Warren Grove is an exciting, exclusive development of family homes in an idyllic location that will feel like a holiday all year round. But don’t delay; these fine Heritage Collection homes are available now, but they won’t be available for long. With Blue Flag beaches and stunning Devon coastal scenery, plus mainline rail connections and easy access to Exeter, they are sure to be some of the most popular family homes we’ve ever released.

Naturally, Redrow are here to help you, with a range of handy schemes to make your move smoother and easier, including Help to Sell and Help to Buy. Which means that you could move into one of these sought after seaside homes near Exeter for just 5% deposit.

Amenities

There is a Sainsbury’s supermarket close by, or slightly further afield a Waitrose can be found in Teignmouth. For doctors, register with The Warren Surgery on Warren Road (Sat Nav EX7 0PQ, call us), or for dentists, try Terrace Dental care in nearby Dawlish (Sat Nav EX7 9HX, call us).

Dining

As you would expect from a popular tourist resort, there are countless great places to eat both in Dawlish and along the coast. Look out for seafront restaurants with terraces where you can watch the sunset over the sea as you tuck in to freshly caught fish. For something different, try Gurkha for Nepalese and Indian food, Jack Sprats for fresh seafood, or the shabby chic of Ten Green Bottles. There are also countless delightful Devon pubs to be discovered, offering delicious home cooked food, such as the Anchor Inn at Cockwood or The Smugglers Inn in Holcombe.

Education

The coastal setting of Dawlish is well served by local primary schools, with Gatehouse Primary, Westcliff Primary and Cockwood Primary all within easy reach. For older pupils Dawlish Community College is close by. Nearby Exeter also has a good selection of high schools, providing a range of state and independent education.

Leisure

Leisure is a way of life in Dawlish, with miles of unspoilt, supervised beaches and a whole host of things to do, especially during the summer season, from carting to crazy golf. If you prefer your leisure time a little quieter, you can explore the 500 acres of Dawlish Warren National Nature Reserve, take a walk in Haldon Forest Park, or head for the wide open spaces of Dartmoor National Park. The more sporty can test their skills on the links of Warren Golf Course, or try a range of sports at the nearby Dawlish Leisure Centre. Fans of the arts will enjoy the varied programme at the Shaftesbury Theatre in Dawlish, or the choice of cinemas in Newton Abbot or Exeter.

Shopping

Dawlish has a small selection of independent shops, many of which also cater for tourists. For more extensive shopping, hop on a train to Exeter where you’ll find the pedestrianised Princesshay Shopping Centre, home to many leading international brands, from Apple to John Lewis.

Transport

Warren Grove lies just off the main A379 Exeter to Newton Abbot road, with Exeter just 12 miles to the north and Newton Abbot 11 miles west. The centre of Dawlish is just 2 miles away, with Torquay 12 miles and Plymouth 44 miles. Alternatively trains from Dawlish Station run direct to Exeter in approximately 20 minutes, and to Plymouth, via Newton Abbot, in around an hour, along one of Britain’s most scenic rail routes.
