Oak Heights is close to everything you need for day-to-day living including convenience stores, a bakery and Post Office. The nearby towns of Rye, Tenterden and Hastings offer a good selection of shops and supermarkets while, for even more choice, you can visit the nearby town of Ashford with its McArthur Glen designer outlet, Park Mall and County Square shopping centres.

There's plenty to keep you busy in the local area with the historic house and gardens of Great Dixter within the village. You can also take a ride on a steam train from Northiam to Tenterden or Bodiam and take in the stunning Rother Valley scenery.
