Nearby Oldham has an even wider choice, with over 250 eateries, led by The Old Bill, Stocco Restaurant, La Via Mediterranean and the Turkish flavours of Istanbul.

Education

The new development lies within easy reach of a number of well regarded local schools, with Mills Hill Primary rated ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted, and St Luke’s CofE Primary and St Herbert’s Roman Catholic Primary both rated ‘good’.

Older pupils are just as well cared for, with popular The Radclyffe School rated ‘outstanding’ and Newman Roman Catholic College rated ‘good’, both within easy walking distance, and nearby Middleton Technology School also rated ‘outstanding’.

Leisure

There is plenty to do in and around Chadderton and Oldham, with everything from sports to cinema. Check out the Broadway Leisure Centre for local sports facilities, of play a round at Blackley Golf Course.

For evening entertainment, Oldham has an Odeon Cinema and the Colluseum Theatre, while the Middleton Arena hosts a huge variety of concerts and shows throughout the year.

With the Peak District national park virtually on your doorstep, you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to getting out and about. From a scenic drive in the hills, to something more active like climbing or kayaking at The Castleshaw Centre, you’ll never be short of something to do at the weekend to blow away the cobwebs of the office or the classroom.

Shopping

Chadderton has a good selection of local shops, especially along Broadway, close to the development. Nearby Oldham has much more to offer, with the Spindles Shopping Centre and many famous markets, including the daily Tommyfield Market, which boasts over 300 stalls. Middleton too has a good choice of shops, located around Middleton Shopping centre.

Head around the M60, and you’ll find the massive Intu Trafford Centre, with a seemingly endless range of big brand stores, along with an amazing choice of restaurants and unique leisure facilities, offering every from indoor skiing to skydiving! Alternatively, jump a train into Manchester and you can browse for hours around world-class stores, including the iconic Arndale Centre.

Transport

With junction 21 of the M60 Manchester Orbita, just a few minutes drive away, Fox Meadows couldn’t be better connected. Manchester City Centre is just 7 miles away, with Rochdale and Bury a similar distance. Oldham is just a few minutes drive to the east, with Middleton just a few minutes to the west.

Trains from Moston Station, just across the motorway, connect swiftly to Manchester Victoria in just nine minutes, and Rochdale in the other direction in under quarter of an hour, with regular services both ways.

Manchester Airport is less than twenty miles with motorway virtually door to door.
