You can leave the car behind for the school run at Meadow View, and enjoy quality time with your kids, walking to schools and staying fit and healthy. Moorside Pre-School Playgroup is just minutes from the development, with Hodge Clough primary and junior schools also within easy walking distance. Alternatively, you can try Littlemoor Primary or Watersheddings Primary, or the faith schools of Our Lady’s Roman Catholic Primary or St Thomas’ Church of England Primary, all of which are also reasonably close.

Jump the tram into Manchester and you’ll have all the shops and stores you could wish for, with the famous Arndale Centre, Corn Exchange and an extensive pedestrianised city centre shopping district offering enough to satisfy even the most dedicated shopaholic. Alternatively, for the ultimate shopping trip, hop on the M60 round to the famous Trafford Centre and enjoy over 200,000sq m of first class shopping and leisure facilities.

Transport

Meadow View is located just off the main A672 Ripponden Road, providing a direct route into Oldham for both cars and regular bus services. Oldham town centre is around 2.5miles, with Rochdale 7miles, Manchester 10miles and Bury 14miles. The M60 Manchester ring road is just 5miles away, providing swift access across the region, while the M62 eastbound is just 5miles to the north east, linking to Huddersfield, Leeds and Sheffield.

Getting into Manchester for work, shopping or leisure couldn’t be easier. Oldham is part of the extensive Manchester Metrolink tram system, with trams into the city taking around 50 minutes from nearby Derker station to Piccadilly. What’s more, there are park and ride facilities at the station for over 250 cars.
