The city is also home to the Maylord shopping centre and several retail parks, and hosts a regular street market every Wednesday and Saturday in the city centre.

Transport

Hereford is around 24 miles from both Worcester and Gloucester, where you can pick up the M5 heading north or south. The city has excellent road connections via the A438 and A49, which pass through the centre and connect to local towns and villages, as well as to the Welsh border just 16miles away. Birmingham is around 60miles to the north east.
Hereford station has regular services to Cardiff in an hour, Birmingham in an hour and a half and Worcester in around 40minutes.
