About the Development

Our beautiful St. Andrews Park development is situated in the village of Halling, a mid-sized village located in a gap in the North Downs in the Northern part of Kent. The site is located next to a large blue lake and set against the backdrop of chalk cliffs, looking down to the River Medway and across the Medway valley.

Amenities

In many ways a traditional English village, Halling has everything you would expect and want in the way of must-have amenities. There is a church, a Post Office, a convenience store and a youth centre in the centre, while the large blue lake helps to support the village's water supply. Longford Dental Practice is only three miles from St. Andrews Park, Halling Medical Centre is within walking distance, and Maidstone Hospital which has an Accident and Emergency department, is only 20 minutes by car.

From comforting pub food to exquisite fine dining, Halling and the surrounding area has a range of options for all tastes. The best in British Mediterranean cuisine is available at Atrium Restaurant and Rochester's high street is home to Topes Restaurant. Offering a variety of menus that are all prepared with the best local produce, the restaurant is set in a beautiful building dating as far back as the 15th century. Among the many pubs in the area are The New Bell Inn in Rochester and Upnor’s The Ship Inn. Halling Primary School lies within the village itself, with Wouldham CofE Primary and Snodland CofE Primary also close by. Speedy access to London means football fans are never far away from some of the country’s top teams and cricket and rugby venues are also within easy reach. Rochester itself is ideal for a fun family day out and Medway Valley Leisure Park is only three miles from the development. Transport

Despite its delightful village location, St Andrews Park enjoys excellent commuter links, with the M20 and M2 both around 3 miles away opening up the whole of the South East. Maidstone is just 11 miles by road, with Gravesend just 10 miles and London just 32 miles. Trains from Halling station will whisk you to London in just over three quarters of an hour, while London City Airport, 32 miles away, and Gatwick, just 38 miles away, provide easy access to Europe and the wider world.
