Living and buying property in Maidstone

The town is 32 miles south-east of London, with the River Medway running through the centre of the town, linking to Rochester and The River Thames.

The A20 road runs through the town with the M20 motorway running to the north, linking to the south of London. The M2 motorway is a small drive from Maidstone to the north with the A21 also running close to the town.

The town has a bus service centre on the main high street, it is running to surrounding towns such as Chatham, Faversham, Sittingbourne, Tonbridge and many more.

Things to do

In the town of Maidstone there are a selection of fun and exciting activities to get involved with. Such as the fantastic range of watersports on offer where you can learn to Kayak or Canoe. Followed by the Zipline and Aerial Adventure parks including the Go Ape castle in Leeds.

If you want to find out some of the towns greatest traditions, then you can visit the Maidstone Museum and Art Gallery and see the stunning heritage that has been around since the Stone Age.

In the town there are two huge games and entertainment centres offering one of the biggest gravity trampoline parks as well as an indoor soft play area. In addition to this there is a fabulous bowling alley.
