The nearest school is Marden Primary School, which is only a five-minute walk away. The village is situated near to the A229, which goes to Maidstone and the M20, providing links to Ashford, Folkestone and London. The nearest train station is in the village itself, where you will find regular services to Paddock Wood, Staplehurst and Ashford International, which provides connections with cross-channel services. There is also a station at Beltring, seven miles away, which offers trains to Tonbridge, Strood and Maidstone.
