About the Development

Perfectly placed in Leighton Buzzard and within easy reach of Milton Keynes, Leestone Park is an important phase in the re-development of the area's former quarries, which will provide much needed family housing. We will be building a range of 2, 3 & 4 bedroom homes from our Heritage Collection

In due course, the development will have its own lower school, local centre and much more, but even now you can count on excellent schools within easy reach, plus all the facilities of Leighton Buzzard just a mile and a half away.

Remember, you only need 5% deposit with Help to Buy.

Amenities

There is a Co-Operative convenience store close to the development for your day to day needs, with Tesco and Waitrose supermarkets in Leighton Buzzard town centre.

For GPs, register with Bassett Road Surgery (Sat Nav LU7 1AR, call us) while for dentists, try West Street Dental Practice in town (Sat Nav LU7 1DD, call us).

Dining

A wide range of cuisine is available in Leighton Buzzard, from Mama Rosa's and Martini Italian to Shan Shui Cottage Chinese & Mevan, a Mediterranean restaurant. If you prefer something more homely then you will also find some excellent local pubs/restaurants providing delicious food, including The Golden Bell, The Black Lion & The Anchor

Education

When the full development is complete, it will have its own dedicated primary school, but until then, younger children can choose between Dovery Down Lower School, rated ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted, along with Heathwood Lower School and Gilbert Inglefield Academy, both rated ‘good’.

Often, older children have to travel to senior school, but at Leestone Park you’ll find the ‘good’ rated Vandyke Upper School and Community College right on your doorstep. Cedars Upper School, across town, offers an alternative, also rated ‘good’.

Leisure

There is plenty to keep you and your family occupied in and around Leighton Buzzard, from sports to safaris. Tiddenfoot Leisure Centre offers a great range of activities, and Leighton Buzzard Golf Course is also close to the development. For sport with a difference, try the Snozone at Xscape Milton Keynes.

Leighton Buzzard has its own theatre, as well as one of the oldest and longest narrow gauge railways, originally built to serve the quarries where we are now building. You’ll also find cinemas in both Milton Keynes and Luton.

For a great family day out, head for Woburn Abbey Safari Park or Whipsnade Zoo, or just take a stroll around Stockgrove or Rushmere Country Parks.

Shopping

Leighton Buzzard is home to the Waterbourne Walk Shopping Centre, and also has a good selection of big names and local independents along the main High Street. There is a local market in the town every Tuesday and Saturday.

For a more substantial shop, head for Milton Keynes Shopping Centre, or jump on a train to London in just half an hour and explore the flagship stores of Oxford Street and the exclusive designer boutiques of Mayfair.

Transport

Leighton Buzzard lies just 45m north of London, with excellent road and rail connections. The A5 is just 3miles away and the M1 is under 10miles. Dunstable is 9miles, Aylesbury and Milton Keynes are both around 11miles and Luton is 14miles away.

Trains from Leighton Buzzard Station, just a mile and a half from the development, will whisk you to London Euston in as little as 32minutes, with frequent services during peak times. Trains to Milton Keynes take just 12 minutes.

If you are heading further afield, Luton Airport offers a choice of flights across the globe, as well as budget flights around the UK and Europe. The airport is around 18miles from the development via the M1.
