Sterling Square is a striking development of new homes in Bracknell, designed to appeal to a range of prospective purchasers, such as first-time buyers and professionals commuting to London.

This collection of 1 and 2-bedroom apartments is finished to a quality specification and incorporates desirable features, including en suite shower rooms, open-plan living spaces, integrated kitchen appliances, balconies and roof terraces. Parking is also available.

The development is located a mile from Bracknell town centre and less than 20 minutes’ walk from two railway stations – Bracknell and Martins Heron. Regular train services operate to the nearby towns of Wokingham, Reading and London Waterloo (journey time of around an hour). The M3 (for travel to Basingstoke, Winchester, Southampton, the M25 and south west London), and the M4 (for Reading, Maidenhead, Slough, the M25, Heathrow and west London) are both just six miles away. Heathrow Airport is less than 30 minutes’ by car via the M3.

Shopping locally is focused around The Lexicon mall, which is home to around 100 stores, plus a multi-screen cinema, cafés and restaurants. This new shopping complex, which opened in September 2017, is part of the regeneration of the town and counts department and chain stores, supermarkets, independents and boutiques among its occupants. Reading, less than 15 miles away, also has a vibrant commercial district and Windsor, 20 minutes’ away by car, attracts visitors drawn by its specialist and independent retailers, as well as by its architecture, historic buildings and Royal heritage.

Sports facilities in the area include Bracknell Leisure Centre, five minutes’ drive from Sterling Square, which has a swimming pool, gym, fitness studio, athletics stadium, squash courts and football pitches, and the John Nike Leisuresport Complex, around 10 minutes’ drive away, which offers skiing, ice skating and snowboarding. Bracknell has football, tennis, rugby and cricket clubs, and the celebrated Ascot Racecourse is less than three miles from the development. Swinley Forest, 10 minutes’ drive away, covers more than 3,000 acres and is popular with walkers, cyclists – it has 15 miles of mountain bike trails – and horse riders.

There are two multiplex cinemas in the middle of town screening the latest movie blockbusters, as well as a cinema within the South Hill Park Arts Centre in Ringmead, two miles away, which shows a mixture of family favourites, arthouse and independent films. The arts centre is situated in an 18th century manor house and incorporates The Wilde Theatre, exhibition galleries, workshops space and a dance studio. Its grounds are also regularly used for public events and festivals.
