Education

The local area is well served by both standard and special needs schools. The nearest primary, Breadsall Hilltop has not been rated since it became an academy, however both St Giles and St Andrews, the two local special needs schools, are rated ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted. Roe Farm Primary and Beauford Community Primary offer alternatives a little further from the development.

For older children, the high performing da Vinci Academy is within walking distance, with a choice of other senior schools in and around the city, including well respected independent schools such as Derby Grammar.

Leisure

The nearby Meteor Centre has a choice of friendly family restaurants and an Odeon multi-screen cinema, so you can enjoy an evening out without having to venture into the city.

Transport
