Fielders Quarter is a collection of new homes in Barking, part of the award-winning Barking Riverside redevelopment and the wider regeneration of the area. These homes will appeal to families, first-time buyers, and commuters travelling to central London, 12 miles away.

Fielders Quarter is located off Fielders Crescent, Barking Riverside. The nearest London Underground station is Upney (District Line), two miles away, and the nearest Overground station is Barking. A new station – Barking Riverside – is due to open in September 2022 and will be less than 10 minutes' walk from the development. Major roads easily accessible from the development include the A13 and A406 North Circular; in addition, frequent local buses connect the development with nearby areas. The development lies within the administrative boundaries of Barking and Dagenham Borough Council.

The regeneration of Barking Riverside includes provision for new commercial centres, so residents will be able to shop locally when these are completed. A number of supermarkets and convenience stores can be reached in less than 10 minutes by car, while the nearest shopping malls – Vicarage Field in Barking town centre and Gallions Reach Shopping Park in Beckton – are both around 15 minutes’ drive away.

Sports facilities, parkland, walking and cycle routes, and a nature reserve have all been incorporated into the design of Barking Riverside and so are on the doorstep for Fielders Quarter residents to enjoy. The Rivergate Centre (one mile away) is home to a football pitch, tennis and netball courts, and a café, while the wider local area offers a range of leisure options, including Castle Green Leisure Centre and Barking Sporthouse and Gym – both 10 minutes’ drive away. Between them they offer a range of activities, including fitness classes, climbing, netball, tennis and football. For those more culturally inclined, The Broadway in the centre of Barking presents a full programme of theatre, music, family entertainment and comedy. Multiplex cinemas in Dagenham and Newham screen the latest blockbuster movies, as well as a selection of classic and world films, theatre, international dance and opera.

Several new schools have been built as part of the regeneration of Barking Riverside, with more to come. Thames View Infants, George Carey Church of England Primary and Riverside Primary schools cater for younger pupils, while Riverside School caters for students aged 11-18 years old and is held in high regard. Newham College (East Ham Campus) five miles away and Barking & Dagenham College six miles away both offer a range of apprenticeships, further and higher education courses.

London Overground services will be extended to Barking Riverside with the opening of a new train station there in September 2022. This extension of the Gospel Oak to Barking line will connect the growing residential area with Fenchurch Street – with expected journey times of around 20 minutes – and London Underground’s District and Hammersmith & City lines from Barking. Crossrail (The Elizabeth line) is also due to open in 2021, with trains stopping at Forest Gate, which is a short walk from Wanstead Park Overground Station. The regeneration of the area also includes plans for new cycle paths and a riverboat service. Several bus routes serve Barking Riverside, including EL1, which operates 24 hours a day and is within a few minutes’ walk of Fielders Quarter, linking the development with Barking Station.
