Lion Wharf is a select development of new homes in Old Isleworth, designed to appeal to a wide audience of potential purchasers, such as families and commuters, and finished to a premium specification.

This collection of 1, 2 and 3-bedroom apartments and 3-bedroom townhouses is located adjacent to the River Thames in a picturesque setting of landscaped gardens and courtyards. Properties incorporate modern design features, such as open-plan living spaces, en suite bathrooms, integrated kitchen appliances and underfloor heating. Some of the apartments enjoy river views, most have terraces, or balconies, and parking is available, while the townhouses have integrated garages and private gardens.

Lion Wharf is situated within the riverside conservation area and forms part of the redevelopment of this space. Its construction is very much in keeping with the historic surroundings and the listed buildings nearby, and it is just a short walk from the retail hub of South Street where specialist shops and small stores can be found alongside a variety of bars, cafés and restaurants.

A wider retail selection can be found in Hounslow, two miles away. There, the Treaty Shopping Centre is home to around 40 department and chain stores, as well as several eateries, while a number of well-known brands are located along High Street.

For families, several highly regarded schools can be found in the local area, including The Blue School CE Primary School, Isleworth Town Primary School, and for older students, The Green School (for girls) and Isleworth and Syon School for Boys.

Old Isleworth today retains much of the charm of its past when it was a fashionable residential area for wealthy families and it maintains its village-like atmosphere. Green space in the town includes Redlees Park, which has a sensory garden, tennis and sports courts, and a children’s playground; Silverhall Park and St John’s Gardens.

The extensive grounds of Syon Park are less than 10 minutes’ drive from these new homes in Isleworth, both the grounds and Syon House, which dates back to the 16th century, are open to visitors, with regular exhibitions and events taking place there. The Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew, which attract visitors from around the world, are also just 10 minutes’ drive away across the River Thames.

Local sports venues include Isleworth Leisure Centre, which has two swimming pools, a gym, exercise studio and sports courts; Twickenham Stadium, the home of English rugby, and Royal Mid Surrey Golf Course, both five minutes’ drive from the development.

Several major roads are easily accessible from Lion Wharf, including the A316, the A4 and the M4. Isleworth Railway Station is less than 20 minutes’ walk away and from there frequent services run to Richmond, Brentford, Chiswick, Putney, Clapham Junction, Vauxhall and London Waterloo. For domestic and international flights, Heathrow Airport is a 20-minute car journey away via the A4.
