Leisure

Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Centre, the historic city of Canterbury is one of the most visited places in England. Canterbury offers many shopping options, with the modern Whitefriars Shopping Centre for your favourite High Street names, as well as a wide range of quirky independent shops aimed at the tourist market. Out of town shopping can be found just before you reach the city, at Maybrook and Canterbury City retail parks, where you’ll find furnishings, DIY, computers and electrical goods.

For a big brand bargain, hop on a train to Ashford for the Ashford Designer Outlet, just a 20minute ride away.

Transport

Hersden is located on the main A28 Canterbury road, with the city just 5miles away. Margate is 12miles, Dover is 23miles and London is 70 miles to the west.

Sturry station is just a few minutes from the development and has services into Canterbury in just 4 minutes and direct to Ashford International in just 22minutes, where you can connect with Eurostar continental services to Paris, Brussels and beyond via the Channel Tunnel. Services from Canterbury West connect directly to London St Pancras in as little as 54minutes, with a huge choice of trains during peak times.
