Education

As a parent, you want schools that offer quality education for your kids, and an easy school run for you, preferably without having to use the car. Nearby Preston offers an extensive pedestrianised shopping area along with the Fishergate and St George’s shopping centres. Preston Market is also well worth a visit, with hundreds of stalls open every day. Chorley offers the Market Walk Shopping Centre and another popular market, while the elegant Edwardian arcades of Southport are just a short drive away.

Transport

Leyland is just six miles south of Preston, with easy access to the M6 at junction 28, just 3miles from the development. Wigan and Blackburn are around 13miles, Southport is 16miles and Manchester and Liverpool are both around 30miles away.
Leyland Station is just a short bus ride, with direct services to Preston in 6minutes, and regular trains to Liverpool and Manchester Victoria, each taking around 45minutes. Hop a connection to Wigan North Western, just ten minutes away, and you can catch a train to London Euston in just 2hrs, as well as services to Glasgow and Edinburgh.
