About the Development

Amenities

Cottam Post Office offers a range of goods and services close to Tabley Green, while there is a Sainsbury's Local convenience store on Tag Lane, Spar and Co-Op stores in Ingol for your day to day grocery needs.

Both doctors and dentists can be found within half a mile, with GPs at Ingol Health Centre (Sat Nav PR2 7DS call us) and dentists at Oaklands Dental Surgery (Sat Nav PR2 7AA call us)

Dining

It is said that the suburb is home to Preston’s finest takeaway at Ingol Fish & Chips, which comes highly rated. Within Preston you’ll have a huge choice of eateries to suit every taste and budget. From Coco’s Soul Food to Angel’s British menu, from Face or tang Chinese to the Silk Route’s Asian flavours and Lorenzo’s Italian.

Closer to home, Checco’s on Garstang Road is a popular family run Italian, while the park Hotel adds an historic angle to fine dining.

Education

At Redrow, we understand the importance of education to our family homebuyers. That’s why we always build within reach of a choice of quality schools. Younger children can choose between Harris Primary and Pool House County Primary, both just a short drive from Tabley Green. Older children have even more choice, including Fulwood Academy, Our Lady’s Catholic High, Archbishop Temple School and Broughton High, all just a short bus ride away and each with their own specialism.

Leisure

Ingol Golf Course is right on the doorstep of the development, with many other excellent courses within easy reach, including the championship course at Royal Lytham and St Annes. Fulwood Leisure Centre is also close by, offering a wide range of sports from swimming to squash. Preston North End’s Deepdale ground is just a short drive away, and the rugby union at Preston Grasshoppers is even closer.

Preston has something for everyone when it comes to entertainment, including two cinemas, Preston Playhouse and the famous Guildhall, which is a regular host of international snooker tournaments. If that’s not enough, head west to the bright lights of Blackpool for a wide range of spectacular seasonal shows.

Shopping

Preston is an excellent city for shopping, with two major shopping centres at Fishergate and St Georges, a pedestrianised centre and a historic market that draws crowds from miles around. As an alternative, Blackpool is home to the Houndshill Shopping Centre, or you can hunt for designer bargains at Freeport Fleetwood outlet village.

Closer to home you’ll find a Costcutter convenience store close by and Booths and Asda supermarkets in nearby Fulwood.

Transport

The development is just a few minutes from the M6 and M55, giving you swift connections across the North West and beyond. It’s also close to the A6 speeding you into the heart of Preston, just over four miles away. Blackpool and Lytham St Annes are both around 16 miles drive.

From Preston, you can access West Coast Mainline trains, speeding you to London in as little as 2¼ hours, Lancaster in 15 minutes or Carlisle in just over an hour. To travel further afield, take the Isle of Man ferry from Heysham, or head to Blackpool Airport just 16 miles away on the M55.
