About the Development

Park View, Hinckley, certainly lives up to its name, overlooking the open fields and sports pitches of Clarendon Park in the heart of this popular Leicestershire town. Close to the town centre, yet equally convenient for road and rail links, as well as local schools, Park View couldn't be better placed for you and your family.   Which makes it an ideal location for Redrow's award winning Heritage Collection homes, which are just as well suited to family life. With attractive Arts and Crafts inspired exteriors and open plan, family friendly interiors, the Heritage Collection is designed around the way you and your family live today.

Dining

Hinckley has a great selection of restaurants both within the town and in the surrounding countryside. Checkout the highly rated Ponchinellos and Rossini, or Barnacles, Hinckley Knight and the Windsor Tiffin. There are also a number of friendly gastro pubs in the area, including The Baron, Chequers Inn and the Sharnford Arms.

Education

Westfield Infants and Westfield Juniors are both within easy walking distance of the development, so you don’t need a car for the school run. Alternatively, there are several other local primary schools to choose from, including St Peter’s Catholic Primary and St Mary’s CofE Primary. Older children can choose between Hastings High and Mount Grace High, both of which feed John Cleveland College, North Warwickshire and Hinkley College and The Midland Studio College

Leisure

There’s plenty to do in and around Hinckley, from the sports of Hinckley Leisure Centre and Hinckley Golf Course, to the quiet of a stroll or cruise along the Ashby de la Zouch Canal. Twycross Zoo and Desford Tropical Birdland are both within easy reach for wildlife fans. For evening entertainment, check out the Concordia Theatre in Hinckley, or the multi screen Odeon cinema in nearby Nuneaton.

Shopping

Hinckley has a good selection of shops in its pedestrianised centre, along with the modern mall of the Britannia Shopping Centre. Hinckley Market dates back to 1311, and the town still holds regular markets on Monday, Friday and Saturday, in addition to a monthly Farmers’ market held every third Thursday of the month. The town also hosts all the major supermarket chains, including Asda, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons. For a wider range of shops try nearby Nuneaton, or head to Leicester or Birmingham for that big city shopping experience.

Transport

Hinckley Station is just a few minutes away from the development, with regular trains linking to Leicester in just 20 minutes, Birmingham in 35 minutes or London, via Nuneaton, in just an hour and twenty minutes. The development is also within easy reach of the A5 and M69, linking to both the M1 and M6, making access right across the region quick and easy. Nuneaton is just over 4 miles, Leicester 16 miles, Coventry 18 miles and Birmingham around 30 miles. Both Birmingham International Airport, at 26 miles, and East Midlands Airport, at 30 miles, are easily accessible.
