The Metrocentre in Gateshead also has a multi-screen cinema and a good selection of restaurants.

The nearest Metro stations to the development are Callerton Parkway and Bank Foot, both around five minutes’ drive away. Mainline train services can be accessed in Newcastle at Central Station for journeys to Edinburgh, Glasgow, York, Doncaster and London Kings Cross, among other destinations.


Major roads conveniently accessible from Westburn include the A1 (for Morpeth, Berwick and Edinburgh to the north, and Durham, Leeds, Doncaster, Peterborough and London to the south), the A69 (for Hexham and Carlisle), and the A19 (for Middlesbrough, Thirsk, York and Doncaster).


Local buses connect the development with surrounding areas, towns and villages. Newcastle Airport is three miles away via Callerton Lane.
