New 3 bedroom houses in Billingshurst

Our new homes are placed in Amblehurst Green area of Billinghurst. Billingshurst is a popular village on the edge of the beautiful South Downs, less than 20 miles from the South Coast and eight miles to the West of Horsham. Positioned on the old London to Chichester Road (Stane Street), it also sits on the London mainline railway line and is on the route of the Wey and Arun Canal.

Billingshurst surrounding area
The architecture in the village is beautiful, and reminiscent of Medieval England. St Mary’s Parish Church, dates back from the 12th Century. There are many interesting buildings which give Billingshurst a heritage charm, such as the Kings Arms pub and Ye Olde Six Bells, which has a picturesque overhanging jetty, typical of late medieval England. There is a real community spirit in Billingshurst, demonstrated by various annual festivals and events. These include the Billifest Family Fun Day and Christmas Fayre, The Billingshurst Show and Carnival Procession in June which includes falconry displays, fairground rides and even lawnmower racing. The village has a range of local independent shops and facilities that include Sainsbury’s Local and Tesco Express and there are further options at Cranleigh (10 miles away) and Horsham (8 miles away) where you’ll find the larger supermarkets, Waitrose and John Lewis at Home. There are also several weekly local markets, providing a range of fresh and locally grown goods. There are also several theatres, museums and galleries in Horsham, mostly centred around The Capitol Arts Centre, home to the nearest cinema.

The Weald School also provides the village with a leisure centre, swimming pool and gym. Jubilee Fields has football and cricket pitches, a skate park and exercise trail. There are also plenty of local clubs and societies including a Horticultural Society, Rotary Club, WI, Chamber of Commerce and Dramatic Society, plus various sports clubs including Billingshurst Tennis Club which can be found just across from the train station. There are many good schools in the area, including Billingshurst Primary School and the well-regarded Weald Community School and Sixth Form college. There are further Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ options in Horsham and the surrounding areas.

We know you’d love to view our new homes, but due to COVID19 we are only able to arrange viewings for those people who have applied for a home (completed the application form) and have passed the eligibility assessment, so we know we can progress the sale. We can also only arrange a viewing if we have the keys for a property so until we have taken handover, the builder still owns the property and access to the homes is limited for health and safety reasons. Thank you for your patience.

^Based on a minimum 5% deposit purchasing a minimum 25% share in a property with a full market value at £385,000.
