More information about Nelson's Park...

Make a fresh start at Nelson’s Park

Nelson’s Park is a collection of new homes located in the historic market town of North Walsham in Norfolk. Our development of two, three, four and five bedroom homes is perfect for first time buyers, growing families and those looking to take the next step up the housing ladder.

Nestled between the North Norfolk Coast and Norfolk Broads, North Walsham is in an ideal location to explore the best the area has to offer, yet close to the bustling city of Norwich, only 14 miles away. It’s also close the coast with Cromer – famous for its traditional pier, sandy beaches and tasty crabs – just over 9 miles away.

The perfect mix of old meets new

This medieval town was first settled in the 13th and 14th centuries by Flemish weavers, making it the heart of the woollen and weaving industry. This new found prosperity helped to build the impressive church of St Nicholas, which still stands proudly overlooking the town. Today, the town boasts a wide selection of local shops and supermarkets including Waitrose, Sainsbury’s and Lidl. The market cross – originally built to collect rent for the market stalls - sits in the centre of the market place, which still hosts a popular weekly market along with a monthly farmers’ market.

The education provision in North Walsham is fantastic with Worstead C of E Primary School rated Ofsted ‘Outstanding’. All the other schools and nurseries in the town are ‘Good’ so there’s lots of quality choices just a short distance away. For older students, Paston Sixth Form College dates back to 1606, and boasts Horatio Nelson as a former student.

Lots to do in the local area…

Living at Nelson’s Park means you’ll be within walking distance of Victory Swim & Fitness Centre - a modern leisure centre with a swimming pool and a wide selection of fitness classes. If you enjoy getting out and about, nearby Bacton Woods are great for a woodland walk or for mountain biking, and a short drive to the east opens up a vast array of stunning coastal walks and charming seaside towns.

With its fantastic location, well-respected schooling and abundant local amenities Nelson’s Park could be your ideal place to set up home. To find our more about this exciting new development arrange an appointment today.
