Terrington St Clement is a large village in Norfolk nestled to the south of The Wash National Nature Reserve. Just over 6 miles west of King's Lynn and 5 miles east of Sutton Bridge, it's on the old route of the A17 trunk road, close to the Norfolk and Lincolnshire border.

The name ‘Salterns' was inspired by the early settlement of inhabitants that made a living from farming, fishing, wildfowling and, most importantly, salt making.
