You’ll also find a wide range of friendly independent local shops alongside the more famous high street names in the town centre.
For a larger shopping trip, both Northampton and Milton Keynes have extensive pedestrianised shopping districts with a host of High Street names. Visit the Market Walks and Grosvenor shopping centres in Northampton, or the Agora shopping centre in Milton Keynes. For big ticket items, like furniture and electrical goods, try Nene Valley or St James’ retail parks, both offering out of town shopping on the edge of Northampton.
