At Redrow, we know that education is an essential on any homebuyers must-have list, and at this development you won’t be disappointed. Towcester is home to the ‘Outstanding’ Sponne School, which regularly achieves remarkable exam results and attracts pupils from miles around. Alternatively, you can choose independent education at Winchester House School and Northampton High School for Girls.

Younger pupils have just as good a choice, with Towcester Primary (rated ‘Good’ by OFSTED) and Nicholas Hawksmoor Primary (rated ‘Good with Outstanding behaviour) nearby in Towcester, along with Silverstone CofE Infants and Juniors and Whittlebury Primary also within a short drive.

Leisure

You can choose your pace of life in the local area, with everything from calming canalside walks along the Stoke Bruerne Canal, to high tension trackside action at Silverstone and Towcester races. Check out the lakes of Cosgrove Leisure Park, stroll around Easton Neston Park near the town, or enjoy a different view of nature from the tree top walk at Salcey Forest.

Towcester has a strong cultural heart with an annual midsummer music festival, and both Northampton and Milton Keynes offer a choice of cinemas and theatres. For sport, try Towcester Leisure Centre, tee off at Silverstone or Whittlebury Hall and Spa golf courses, or check out the premiership rugby action at Northampton Saints and football at Northampton Town.

Shopping

From the freshest fruit and veg at the farmers’ market on the second Friday of the month, to the fascinating curios and collectables at the antiques and bric-a-brac market every Friday in the Town Hall, Towcester is well worth a visit. You’ll also find a wide range of friendly independent local shops alongside the more famous high street names in the town centre.

For a larger shopping trip, both Northampton and Milton Keynes have extensive pedestrianised shopping districts with a host of High Street names. Visit the Market Walks and Grosvenor shopping centres in Northampton, or the Agora shopping centre in Milton Keynes. For big ticket items, like furniture and electrical goods, try Nene Valley or St James’ retail parks, both offering out of town shopping on the edge of Northampton.
