More information about Bowbrook Meadows By Bovis Homes...

This exciting new development situated on the outskirts of Shrewsbury, a historic market town with one of the largest horticultural events in the Country of England, will offer a stunning selection of 3, 4 and 5 bedroom homes, all carefully designed to meet the needs of modern living.  So if you're looking for a superb new home close to this charming town, your search ends here.

Shrewsbury has a great mix of popular High Street stores alongside the quirky independents at Wyle Cop that offer everything from vintage clothing and jewellery to rare book and antiques. The town's medieval 'shuts' - passageways linking streets - are home to a variety of boutiques, while latest fashion and chain stores can be found at the Darwin and Pride hill shopping centres. The Parade offers dozens of independent shops, while the Market Hall offers local produce, crafts and curios.

Dating back to 1074, Shrewsbury has a rich heritage with more than 660 listed buildings, a red sandstone castle, an abbey and a cathedral. The birthplace of Charles Darwin, Shrewsbury was built alongside the River Severn and has nine bridges and many pretty riverside walks, a riverboat and the bankside Theatre Severn. For history and culture visit the impressive Shrewsbury Museum and Art Gallery and see St Chad's a round church close to the 29 acre, Quarry Park featuring The Dingle, a landscaped sunken garden. The town has a wealth of sports clubs including cricket, rowing, rugby, running and motorsports, while Shrewsbury Sports Village is a modern sports centre. The Shropshire Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, are also within easy reach.

Bowbrook Meadows just over two miles from Shrewsbury town centre and is just a few minutes' drive from the A5, the town's major trunk road that leads to the M54 and Telford, 14 miles away and on to the M6 and the West Midlands. Wolverhampton is approximately 36 miles and Birmingham about 50. The town is well-served by bus and coach services and has three park and rides. Trains run from Shrewsbury Railway Station to Birmingham in just under an hour as well as to Telford, Wolverhampton, Manchester, Cardiff and a new service direct to London's Euston was launched in December 2014. For air travel Manchester and Birmingham Airports are both about 64 miles.
