About the Development

Located beneath Turner’s Hill, a Site of Special Scientific Interest and the highest point in the West Midlands, yet within easy reach of Birmingham City Centre, Rowley Grange gives you the very best of both worlds, enjoying both traditional Black Country charm and fast paced modern city living.

Twenty minutes from the city by regular train and just minutes from the M5, you couldn’t be better placed for work, and it’s an ideal location for schools too, with a choice of ‘Good’ rated local primary and senior schools.

This superb development of three and four bedroom Heritage collection homes near Birmingham is coming soon, subject to planning. So register your interest today and be the first to know the news as this exciting project progresses. Remember, it takes just 5% deposit to move into a brand new Redrow home in the West Midlands with Help to Buy.

There is a One Stop Shop on Thorne Road for your day to day needs, and a Tesco Express in Rowley Regis. Nearby Oldbury is home to both Asda and Sainsbury’s supermarkets for your full weekly shop.

Naturally, the area benefits from an excellent selection of the kind of high quality Asian and Indian restaurants that the region is famous for, such as the Raj Spice in Halesowen, Saffron and Bangla in Oldbury, and Dilshad in Rowley Regis.

Other recommended restaurants in the area include the New Cottage Bar and Grill in Oldbury, The Vine, The Summerhouse and Ann’s Thai in Dudley and Istanbul, Classic Canton and Rowley Bar and Grill in Rowley Regis.

The famous Balti Triangle, to the south east of Birmingham is also well worth a visit for some of the finest Asian food in the UK.

Rowley Grange is being built on the former site of St Michael’s CofE High School, because the school has been moved to a brand new £40m learning campus, within easy reach of Rowley Grange. You’ll find the ‘Good’ rated Rowley Hall Primary even closer, with St James CofE Primary and Primrose Primary also within easy reach and also rated ‘Good’ by OFSTED.

Alternative local high schools include Castle High in Dudley, The Meadows Sports College, Ormiston Forge Academy, Perryfields High specialist maths and computing college and Hillcrest School.

There is a good selection of local pubs and restaurants in the friendly local community of Rowley Regis, with a range of other evening entertainment within easy reach. Take in a show at Dudley Little Theatre or Oldbury Rep, or take in the latest films releases at the Black Country Cinema in Oldbury or the Reel Cinema near Halesowen.

For sports, both Dudley and Halesowen Leisure Centres have a comprehensive selection of courts, pools and pitches, while Portway Lifestyle Centre also has a climbing wall. Golfers can take on the challenge of Rowley Golf Course’s nine holes close to the development, or a full round at Dudley Golf Course on the slopes of Turner’s Hill.

There is great shopping in all directions from Rowley Grange, with the Churchill Shopping Centre in Dudley, Queens Square and New Square in West Bromwich and Cornbow Shopping Centre in Halesowen.

The unrivalled city centre shopping of Birmingham is also just 20 minutes away by train, including the famous Bull Ring shopping centre with 160 big names from Apple to Zara, Grand Central, above Birmingham New Street station, and the delights of the legendary jewellery quarter.

Rowley Regis Station, just a mile and a half away from Rowley Grange, has enjoyed major investment in recent years, doubling the capacity of its park and ride car park to over 700 spaces, as well as installing a brand new 30 space cycle hub with CCTV protection. Trains from Rowley Regis take just 19 minutes into Moor Street in the heart of Birmingham, with services every ten minutes during peak times.
