Find your perfect home at Persimmon @ St Andrews Ridge

Located to the north of Swindon, close to beautiful countryside, Persimmon @ St Andrews Ridge is an exclusive new development offering a variety of two, three and four bedroom homes.

Swindon has something for everyone. A town of diversity and contrast with a bustling atmosphere, it has a wonderful range of leisure, recreational and cultural activities as well as numerous attractions nearby.

Originally a small market town, Swindon was used mainly for barter trade until the mid-1800s. The original Swindon is now known as Old Town and here you can wander through quiet courtyards and alleyways or enjoy a vibrant mix of traditional shops and pubs alongside modern outlets and stylish cafes and bars. With the arrival of the Great Western Railway in 1840 a whole new town was created between the new railway works and Swindon Hill and this is now Swindon's Town Centre.

The centre is fully pedestrianised and offers both an indoor and outdoor shopping experience. Whether you are in search of the latest fashion, or have an eye for a bargain, this is the place to be. The McArthurGlen Swindon Designer Outlet is one of Europe’s largest undercover centres and you’ll find more than 90 stores, cafés and restaurants housed within the Grade II Listed building of the former Great Western Railway Works.

Lots to do in the local area

For local attractions within Swindon there’s the Steam Museum in the centre of town or else head north to Cricklade Railway to enjoy train rides and absorb the town’s railway history in a different way.

Just a little further up the A419 you can discover The Cotswold Water Park. Now consisting of over 140 lakes, this is now a renowned conservation area with a large number of waterfowl and wildlife. The lakes are also a popular place for outdoor activities: anglers can fish, water skiers and jet skiers can ski, sailors can sail their yachts and walkers can enjoy miles of countryside walks.

Persimmon @ St Andrews Ridge combines beautiful countryside, a thriving town with a fascinating heritage and excellent positioning for superb road and rail links. Swindon is located by the M4 motorway so it’s easy to head east to London or west to Wales. The development at St Andrews Ridge is conveniently situated right by the A419 which will also take you quickly to the delights of Cirencester and Cheltenham just a few miles north or else south through the Marlborough Downs to Salisbury and Southampton
