Persimmon to open 75 new sites
Due to increased optimism about the business Persimmon Homes will be opening 75 new sites over the next few months. With high level profits of around £39m in place of losses of £16.7m for this time last year.
Legal completions are up 16% and revenue up 27% for Persimmon Homes. Forward sales are strong up by around a third in comparison to last year.
This confidence has led to the restoration of dividend at 3p per share.
Chairman John White commented: . "We expect annual volume growth of new home sales to continue to be steady in line with any general improvement in the economy. Overall, while we currently remain cautious, we are optimistic about the future of our business,"
