Not only that, but Dundee's got history and culture, and is an important tourist destination. The waterfront and harbour have been regenerated and the stunning V&A Museum of Dundee is now a major landmark. At the same time, the Port of Dundee carries on the maritime tradition here and keeps the city on its toes. It's a great balance to achieve and you'll enjoy all the different aspects of this great city as you settle into your new home. Out and about you can easily head up into the Highlands or along the coast towards Arbroath. Alternatively, you can cross the River Tay into the Fife Peninsula to explore the unspoilt coastline of the Tentsmuir National Nature Reserve.

Dundee is well-known as a great place to shop. Close to the development there's an Asda, Tesco Extra and the Kingsway Retail Park. The city centre has a good selection of high street shops and you will also have the Overgate Shopping Mall and the Wellgate Centre for extra choice.

For fun days out there are plenty of things to do in the city including the McManus Art Gallery & Museum, the Dundee Science Centre and the Discovery Point museum. There are many local parks throughout the city as well as the Camperdown Country Park on the outskirts. The V&A Museum of Design in Dundee is a centre for design and is a stunning centrepiece to the city.

Living at Kingspark means you'll be able to make the most of the excellent transport links from Ivergowrie and Dundee train stations, which operate regular services to Aberdeen, Perth and Glasgow's Queen Street station. For travel further afield, Dundee Airport is also within easy reach.
