Transport

Tenterden lies on the main A28 and serves as a hub for a number of smaller local towns and villages. It is 11miles from Rye, 13miles from Ashford, 19miles from Maidstone and 24miles from Tunbridge Wells. The town is around 60miles from London by road, with the M20 around 12miles and the M25 around 35miles.
London trains can be found at Headcorn station, around 9miles away, although the services from Ashford International, around 12miles drive, are much quicker, reaching the city in under 40minutes at peak times. Ashford also has direct services, via the Channel Tunnel, to Paris, Brussels and many other continental destinations.
