Chippenham is one of Wiltshire's thriving market towns. There's a traditional High Street – with two street markets each week – a Market Square, and a choice of modern shopping centres. The town is on the mainline rail route to London, and if you want to get to Bath by train, it takes just 10 minutes. Out and about there are some glorious places to discover in the Cotswolds and the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Chippenham is a vibrant market town with much to offer its residents. On the banks of the River Avon, its bustling town centre is home to a wide selection of well-known stores. Colourful street markets are held in the High Street on Fridays and Saturdays, offering a variety of traditional and modern stalls. There's also a handy Co-op store, whilst approximately a mile to the west you'll find a Morrison's supermarket, complete with cafe, petrol station and car wash. The popular Allington Farm Shop is also within easy reach.

Sports facilities in the area are really good. The Olympiad Leisure Centre is a hub of activity, with a swimming pool, gym, fitness classes, football and badminton courts. There are swimming lessons and activities for children as well as a crèche for little ones. Further sports opportunities can be found at Sheldon Sports Hall, located in the parkland of Sheldon School, and Stanley Park is the place to be for aspiring footballers.
