Ingleby Barwick is a sought-after residential suburb within the Stockton-on-Tees borough. It lies 6 miles to the south west of the city of Middlesbrough, and is enclosed by the meandering rivers of the Leven to the south, the Tees to the west and north, and Bassleton Beck to the east.
