Ingleby Barwick is a sought-after residential suburb within the Stockton-on-Tees borough. It lies 6 miles to the south west of the city of Middlesbrough, and is enclosed by the meandering rivers of the Leven to the south, the Tees to the west and north, and Bassleton Beck to the east. The estate is divided into six ‘village’ areas called Lowfields, Beckfields, Sober Hall, Round Hill, Broom Hill and The Rings.

Central to Ingleby Barwick is Romano Park with its green space and children’s play area – it’s also home to a multi-use sports arena which hosts various sports including football, basketball and tennis. There’s also a 9-hole golf course with a driving range for budding golfers. Nearby you’ll find plenty of other amenities such as Preston Park and Hemlington Lake and Recreation Centre. Slightly further afield, the North York Moors and Yorkshire Dales National Parks are perfect for outdoor adventurers of all ages and abilities.
