If you need shopping and larger supermarkets, Basingstoke is the ideal choice. You’ll find over 20 stores at Festival Place shopping centre including John Lewis Home, Debenhams, Marks and Spencer and many more. There are also chain restaurants such as Pizza Express, Wagamama and Zizzi, or try independent restaurants such as The Lime Leaf for Thai food or Spicy Tadka for Indian cuisine. In terms of larger supermarkets, there is a Waitrose and Sainsburys and also a Wilkinson for other home shopping items.

There are several good schools to choose from in and around Oakley. Oakley Church of England infant and junior schools are both approximately half a mile away from Poets Meadow. For secondary schools, they are a little further afield in neighbouring Basingstoke, namely Bishop Challoner, Baldworth and Brighton Hill. Sherfield School, is just over 20 minutes by car and provides independent education from the age of three months to 18 years.

For health and fitness try Activ 4 Health, CrossFit Basingstoke or Anytime Fitness. There is also a tennis club in Oakley, and a local cricket club. Laverstock is just a short drive away, and plays host to the iconic gin brand, Bombay Sapphire with its own gin distillery, where you can try their gin making tour and sample some cocktails! If you are looking for a good local pub, The Barley Mow is in Oakley and hosts a variety of live music events and quiz nights.

We know you’d love to view our new homes, but due to COVID19 we are only able to arrange viewings for those people who have applied for a home (completed the application form) and have passed the eligibility assessment, so we know we can progress the sale.
