Nightingale Fold is in picturesque Steeple Claydon, a Buckinghamshire village in the Aylesbury Vale district and once home to nursing icon Florence Nightingale.

This bustling community has its own supermarket, bakery, post office and pubs. There is also a nursery, a primary school, a doctor's surgery and dentist. For further shops it's just five miles to Buckingham.

At Nightingale Fold you'll find a selection of stunning brand new homes, all carefully designed to meet your needs.

So if you're looking for a new home surrounded by the rolling Buckinghamshire countryside, your search ends here.

Steeple Claydon has its own Co-op supermarket, a bakery and a post office. Less than 6 miles away in Buckingham there's a Tesco superstore, an Aldi and a Waitrose. The town centre has a variety of independent craft, antiques, jewellery, gift shops and also holds regular general markets. You'll find more unique retailers in the nearby market town of Winslow, also less than 6 miles away and for designer shopping visit Bicester Village, an outlet centre just 11 miles away, with more than 160 boutiques offering world-famous brands.

Unwind in one of Steeple Claydon's pubs, explore St Michael's Church dating back to 1380 or enjoy one of the many local walks. The Recreation Ground is home to the successful village football team shops, tennis court and skate park. Children will also love the equipped play area.

Take to water on the beautiful Grebe Lake with Great Moor Sailing Club, or cast off with the Calvert Angling Club at Middle Claydon.

For swimming, sports and fitness visit The Swan Pool and Leisure Centre, or Revival Health and Leisure Club, both in Buckingham. See the latest blockbusters in cinemas at Aylesbury, Bicester, or Buckingham. For the perfect day out, visit The National Trust's stunning Claydon House, used by war nurse Florence Nightingale, with its lavish 18th century interiors and scenic grounds.

The A413 at Padbury is about 3 miles away and links the village to Buckingham and Winslow which are both less than a 6 mile drive. From Buckingham the A421 (east) leads to Bletchley, 10 miles away and Milton Keynes, 13 miles, and from there it's just another 3 miles to the Junction 14 of the M1. Head west into Oxfordshire for the A43 and M40 (north) or take the A4421 to Bicester, 11 miles away, where the A41 joins Junction 9 of the M40 (south) and the A34 to Oxford. For Aylesbury head south for 15 miles, taking the A413. Trains run from Bicester North to London Marylebone and Birmingham, and from Aylesbury to London Marylebone. For air travel, Luton Airport is less than 37 miles away.
