Our homes start at £144,995, but with our shared ownership scheme, you could purchase a share of a home for as little as £36,249 (a 25% share) and pay a subsidised rent cost on the remaining share. This means your total monthly payments could be as low as £515*, making the cost of buying a new home more affordable.
When buying a new home, the mortgage deposit needed can be substantial. With shared ownership, you only need a 5% deposit of the share amount, this means it could be as little as £1,813 *. The share amount you purchase is based on your own circumstances and affordability.
To qualify for shared ownership, there are few boxes you need to tick:
- You are not currently a home owner.
- You have a household income of less than £80,000.
- You have a sufficient deposit (a minimum of 5%) for the percentage of the home you'd like a mortgage for.
- You can prove you can afford the monthly mortgage repayments.
