The second phase of our popular Saxons Chase development is situated in the historic village of Headcorn, away from the bustle of busy towns but with easy access to Maidstone and Ashford. With a choice of three, four and five-bedroom homes, this intimate development is ideal for families, downsizers, first-time buyers, and investors.

Headcorn is far enough off the beaten track to keep its village feel, yet it's within easy reach of the M20 making it a convenient location for both the coast and the M25. It's a lovely place to bring up a family or perhaps retire to, with good local facilities and lovely countryside all around. It's more or less midway between Royal Tunbridge Wells, Ashford, and Maidstone for the area's bigger shopping centres and it's halfway between the Kent Downs and the High Weald for some of the South East's most beautiful countryside.

Headcorn is a thriving village community just eight miles from the county town of Maidstone, with all its shops and restaurants. It's 16 miles from the McArthur Glen Outlet for another wide range of shops. The village has a number of independent shops, including a deli, hardware shop, opticians and a Post Office, as well as a Sainsbury's supermarket.

There are clubs for all ages from toddlers' groups and youth theatre to a rotary club, film society and bowls club. There is also a village library. You have a choice of two village pubs, The George and Dragon, with a dog-friendly bar, and the White Horse featuring first class, local Kentish and Sussex brewed Ales, open fires and traditional pub grub. For days out, the beaches at Camber Sands and Winchelsea Bay are only 17 miles away.

Saxons Chase is ideal for commuters, with connections to Maidstone via the M20 heading east to Ashford and west to Swanley. If you prefer to travel by train, the development is ideally located near Headcorn train station, with routes west to Tonbridge, east to Ashford and further afield to Canterbury and Dover. Trains will get you to London Bridge in under an hour. The nearest port is Dover, for ferry crossings to Calais. The nearest airport is Gatwick, only an hour's drive away, with its choice of national and international destinations.
