The town has two main stations, with trains from Maidstone East, just a short walk away, reaching London Victoria in just over an hour and Ashford in half an hour. Maidstone West has trains to St Pancras via Strood also in around an hour. You can connect to Eurostar trains at Ashford International, speeding you directly to Paris and Brussels for that well earned European city break. If you are heading further afield, Gatwick and London City airports, and the continental ferries of Dover, are all less than an hour’s drive.
