These schools feed the popular North Warwickshire and Hinckley College, which is a specialist creative arts college and the John Cleveland Sixth Form Centre at Hinckley Academy.

Leisure

Burbage has a strong sense of community, with a host of local events throughout the year, including an annual street carnival held every summer. There are also many clubs and societies in the village.
Nearby Hinckley is home to Hinckley Leisure Centre and Hinckley Golf Course, as well as the Concordia Theatre and a new Cineworld cinema complex showing all the latest releases.

You’ll find a small selection of shops and stores in Burbage, along with a Farmers’ Market on the first Saturday of every month.

Nearby Hinckley has a wider choice, with a pedestrianised shopping area centred around the Britannia Shopping Centre. Hinckley also has a popular market, dating back to 1311, which is held every Monday, Friday and Saturday.

For the ultimate shopping trip, jump a train to Birmingham, where you’ll find the modern malls of the famous Bull Ring bursting with all your favourite big name brands.

Transport

The development is well served for road transport, with busses passing along the main road into Burbage and Hinckley, and the M69 and A5 Watling Street both close by. The M69 links the M1 and M6, offering enviable access across the East and West Midlands. Nuneaton is around 5miles, Leicester 13miles, Coventry 16miles and Birmingham around 30miles.

Trains from nearby Hinckley Station connect to Leicester in just 20minutes, Birmingham in just over half an hour and London, via Nuneaton, in around 80minutes. Both Birmingham and East Midlands airports are easy to reach at around 30 miles each.
