Anniversary update on new homes in Daresbury

With 85% of homes on the initial two phases of the development in Daresbury now occupied, the homebuilder behind the scheme is marking its third anniversary with the launch of a new phase.

Bridgewater View is a Castle Green Homes development, part of the wider Daresbury Garden Village.

It’s shortlisted in the Insider North West Residential Property Awards, which take place today (February 26).

Bridgewater View has become a popular place to live, attracting a range of buyers from those starting out, to families and down sizers thanks to the combination of the location, specification and energy efficiency of the homes.

This weekend (February 28), the homebuilder is celebrating three years since the original show homes opened by releasing a new phase of properties.

Castle Green Homes sales director Sian Pitt explained: “Bridgewater View is a flagship development, which will eventually see 350 homes built over a 43-acre site. Because of the scale of the new community, it’s being delivered in phases. It’s credit to the team that three years on from opening the original show homes, 85% of properties in the initial two phases are now occupied. The good news for those looking for a new home in Daresbury is that we’re launching a new phase, featuring some of our most popular house types, which have sold out on earlier parts of the development.”

The latest release of properties will include the sought-after three-bedroom detached Stratford and Henley house types, plus the popular four-bedroom detached Alderton. Prices for these homes will be announced at the launch.

Across Bridgewater View, Castle Green is building a good mix of two, three and four-bedroom homes.

Current availability includes four-bedroom detached homes in a choice of styles, priced from £454,995.

“Location has played a part in the success of Bridgewater View. There’s potential for some lovely views of the Bridgewater Canal and in time there’ll be a footpath down to the canal. There’s a choice of schools nearby, including Daresbury Primary School, which is less than a mile away. Plus, easy access to the M56 makes it a great base for commuters,” Sian added.
