Pershore is an unspoiled picturesque market town situated on the banks of the River Avon, around ten miles from Worcester and six miles from Evesham.

Famed for its beautiful Anglo-Saxon abbey and full of glorious Georgian buildings, the town today has a thriving community with a vibrant indoor market on Wednesdays and Saturdays, together with a marvelous range of independent shops and national brands.

Even closer to Wyre Meadows is Pershore High School. The school is a co-educational academy for 12 to 18 year olds, with a sixth form. It has an excellent reputation and was rated as "outstanding" for Pupil Behaviour and Safety and "good" in every other area in the latest Ofsted report.

For those who need to commute to work, Wyre Meadows is well-placed, with the local railway station situated less than three quarters of a mile away. From here there are regular direct trains that will take you to Evesham in under 10 minutes, to Worcester in 15 minutes or to Paddington in just over two hours.

Plans are in progress to open a new train station in the village of Norton, on the eastern side of Worcester, giving great connectivity to the area.
