The internationally-recognised golf courses regularly play host to the Golf Open Championship, attracting visitors from all over the world. Nearby there's an incredible range of leisure and entertainment options. St Annes-on-Sea's Victorian Pier is a popular attraction, and the seafront offers many activities suitable for the whole family from pedalo rides to seafront boardwalks.

Annual events such as the Kite Festival and the Lytham Proms are very popular among locals and visitors. For those who enjoy the outdoors there are number of local walking routes and miles of stunning countryside throughout the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District National Park, which are both less than an hour's drive away.

St Annes-on-Sea and Squires Gate train stations both lie on the Blackpool line with easy access to Preston.
