Our latest development Parklands brings a selection of stunning three, four and five-bedroom homes to Hessle, a popular town on the banks of the Humber, 20 minutes from Hull.

With its attractive centre, many independent shops and eateries, and proximity to both Hull and scenic walking spots, it’s not hard to see why Hessle is much-loved by its residents. The town sits south west of Hull right next to the magnificent Humber Bridge, one of the longest bridges in the world.

Parklands is located in a desirable leafy area filled with impressive homes, some of which were the country estates of wealthy merchants from Hull. From the development it’s just a 10-minute walk to the centre of town, where numerous cafes, pubs and restaurants sit alongside independent shops and high street staples such as convenience stores, banks and a post office. For the weekly shop you’ll find a Sainsburys and Co-Op in town. Meanwhile, a 10-minute walk in the other direction will take you to the banks of the estuary, home to a superb country park, footpaths and panoramic views.

With the added benefits of a train station within walking distance, a good range of local schools, and excellent connections to the airport and ferry terminal, Parklands could be your perfect place to call home.

Parklands is just a stone’s throw from Humber Bridge Country Park, a 21-acre dog-friendly park with a variety of beautiful walks. From there it’s a short stroll to Hessle Foreshore, a scenic area overlooking the estuary, and great hiking routes including the Trans Pennine Trail. A few miles west, Welton Waters Adventure Centre is a popular spot for paddleboarding, sailing and kayaking, and there are golf courses nearby too. For indoor sports you have a wide choice – go-karting, indoor climbing, and a number of gyms in Hull.

Living in Hessle you’ll be ideally positioned to reach several major cities, whether you’re travelling for work or leisure. The town is located just of the A63, which leads east to Hull (19 minutes) and west to the M62 which in turn leads to York (1 hour) and Leeds (1 hour 13 minutes). Hessle station operates direct routes to Hull and Doncaster, with connecting services to Leeds, York, Grimsby and Cleethorpes. Or, for travel further afield, Humberside Airport is 14 miles away.
